liveR and onions....

foR some Reason, i thought that liveR shouLd be my pRotein of the week. my gRams is in town, so i got heR Recipe as she makes gReat liveR. i was missing one ingRedient: bacon fat. i toLd my gRamps that i had none and he said, sLightLy iRRitated: just COOK some bacon! i toLd him i don't cook bacon and he looked like he was Ready to kanouff me. my gRams suggested that i ask someone to save some foR me. so heRe's a caLL out foR some bacon fat!

i made my liveR & onions sans le fat and it wasn't so hot. it was kinda gRoss. it got me thinking that i was actuaLLy eating an ORGAN and not the fLesh of a cow, but tRuLy, which is moRe disgusting. at least this cow was gRain fed and wasn't injected with steRoids. eitheR way, half of it went to the poubeLLe and i'm contempLating thRowing out the haLf-liveR that is in my fRidge. ugh. next time, i'LL sheLL out the extRa 5 bucks foR a steak and just pop some moRe iRon piLLs oR something.

in otheR news, i'm getting Ready to go back to woRk finaLLy. the winteR fiasco is oveR and i shaLL be once again known as "madame" staRting lundi matin...l'emp'ReuR, sa femme et son p'tit pRince sont venus chez moi, pouR me seRReR la pince. mais comme j'n'etais pas la, le petit pRince a dit: puisque c'est comme ca nous ReviendRons maRdi...
